Job Summary:

$30 - $35 hourly

Essential Responsibilities:

• Administers treatment to restore function, mobility and strength, relieve pain, and prevent disability through the use of various exercise techniques, appropriate modalities, simple extremity mobilization, muscle re-education, gait training, and other related treatment techniques.
• Provides patients with instruction in home exercise programs and pain relief techniques.
• Maintains appropriate medical records to include progress notes.
• Consult with the physical therapist and/or referring physician as indicated regarding patient achievement of goals.
• Performs the responsibilities of a Physical Therapist Assistant to ensure safe, progressive, efficient, and effective patient care.
• Performs other related duties as directed.

• Associate's degree in physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association is required.
• License, Certification, Registration Physical Therapy Assistant License (Kentucky)
• Spanish speaking is a plus.
